Skin Food Pedicure Sparkle: #09 Sparkle Red

This polish is more sparkly PINK than it is sparkly red, actually, BUT...

so far, it's the blingiest, sparkliest polish I've ever had the pleasure of owning! Look at that SHINE! And it's a one-coater too. (Besides, I think I'd go blind if I put on another coat!)

I can even see my blurred reflection on these when I wiggle my fingers around! (Sadly, I couldn't capture that on camera properly, so you'll have to take my word for it. Dun worreh, ninjas never lie! XD)

BLING BLING BABY!

Skin Food's Pedicure Sparkle line retails for PHP375.00, which is close to USD8.00.

good blog. i just dont like the sloppy application of all swatches of nail polish. you could have cleaned the edges first before taking a photo. :)

Anonymous - Glad you like the blog, but as I state in my profile on the sidebar,

This is a quick, no-nonsense blog meant to show how polish colors look on nails only. No gripes about length or cleanup here.

I prefer cleaning my nails in the shower, as it has much less risk for me ruining the polish than if I were to use an orangewood stick topped with some cotton and remover, or whatever method you think is best. Since my way takes a lot more time than the conventional way, I would never get around to posting the polish swatches if I took a shower every time I put on some polish.

Oh my gosh! I love this one! And don't worry about the clean up! I think most of us just want to see the color's. I don't do any clean up either.

Hey! I saw your blog when I searched for "The Face Shop nail polish" in google. I also noticed how some blogs only swatch those western brands, which are not all available in the Philippines (except Orly, China Glaze, Essie and OPI--but their colors are limited as well). I fell in love with TFS nail polishes since I'm mostly giving them as presents. So I'm glad that I found a blog that swatches TFS nail polish. :) Do you have the western brands I mentioned above? Is it ok if you do a swatch on them also (only if you have them)?. Thank you! Keep blogging. :)

Staci - Thanks for dropping by! I do have a few Orly polishes (Haute Red, Spark, and Charged Up), but I think you should visit the more established Western polish blogs (like the lovely ones on my blog roll) for those. They swatch them much better than I do, and their color selection is much wider!

I hope you continue swatching TFS nail polish. :) I love them also. but they mostly have shimmer and frost, and I am big fan of cremes. Do you wear a base coat before applying polish? Is there a particular brand that you can recommend? :) Thanks Angie!

^I don't use a base coat, but I do use a top coat. If you're looking for creme, Elianto has a pretty big selection. :)
