BNC #175 Silver Sparkle

(Silver Sparkle is not the polish's actual name, which was nowhere to be found on the bottle.)

I was walking around Trinoma when I chanced upon a stall selling Korean BNC polishes for PhP80.00 (USD1.78) each. The salesperson was quite annoying - she kept using hard sell tactics to get me to buy more products, so I didn't stick around very long to look at other shades.

Silver Sparkle is a hexagonal glitter polish much like TFS Nail Pleasure YL702. It can be made opaque in three coats, although it helps to have some sort of polish underneath to fill in the gaps. Here, I used Skin Food PK203 as the base.

I've been looking for a polish to blind people with, and this fits the bill perfectly. :P

hi, sis! tanong ko lang, madali bang magchip ang BNC? ilang days ang tinatagal nya without chipping?

Dee said...

^Two weeks siya sakin, but that may be because this is a glitter polish, na mas makapit kaysa sa regular polish.

Hi, it's my first time in your blog! I like the silver sparkle! Ang lapit ko lang sa Trinoma and I've been there gazillion times but I don't think I've seen the stall you mentioned. Yay! I'll look for it the next time I visit the mall!

I love getting my nails done. Most of the time, I spice them up with some nail stickers. I blog about them too. :)

I just stumbled across your blog and I think it's absolutely fantastic! It's wonderful that you feature Asian brands that don't get as much love in the blogging world.

I've only just been able to get some of the awesome brands you feature thanks to some lovely bloggers I've swapped with.

This polish is gorgeous btw=)

^Aww, it's okay if you dont comment much. :D I haven't been posting much anyway, real life is getting in the way, so all I can do for the moment is browse through others' blogs.

I cant remember what top coat I used for this one, but the top coats I usually use are either from Orly or The Face Shop.

^I think it's called Nail Up! - it's a stall near Dairy Queen and a swimsuit store, if I remember correctly.

really nice! i want to blind people with that too! :)

and i do agree that it's really annoying when the salesperson keeps on bugging you to buy more products. in my head, i'm like, "could you please just let me look around myself?" but my legs are so fast, i got 10 meters away from the store even before i get to say what's on my mind. >:|

haha I know that you mean when people try to hard sell. They think they are convincing you to buy but really they are making you want to leave. Plus when they try to sell so hard people might be suspicious there's something wrong with the product!! haha

I've heard about BNC so I'm so glad I found a review for it! The polish is so pretty!

I'll be following your blog :D

Nice nail polish! Kung malayo kayo sa Trinoma, meron din sa Robinsons Ermita. Stall lang din siya, Pedro Gil if I'm not mistaken. Maganda nga consistency ng BNC pero yung mga kasamahan na nail polish sa stall like yung Nail Up, hindi msyado pero dami colors. :)
